hardware manager showed a joystick port at 0x0200 and a "gameport" at 0x220, both managed by Crystal Semi drivers. Unzip driver archive - Run install.cmd - Select 'SoundBlaster Live! Wave Audio' and continue installation - Reboot The port found under Win98 is not the default port, which is /P201.

Gameport Disabled?
I've got a problem: I want to install my own drivers for my soundcard (SBLive! 5.1 Player) and not Microsoft ones! Everytime i uninstall the drivers for Soundcard + Gameport,after the reboot appears "new hardware found" "Soundblaster live! (WDM) found!" "Hardware is ready to work" or something about that.

I used to run it on the onboard audio game port but my new computer doesn't have onboard. I think maybe the port on my sb live might be fried, but I have never used it. When I reinstalled the standard microsoft (WDM) drivers for my soundblaster live value the force feedback was working correctly again.

I messed with Bios, Virtual Memory, DirectX, Memory management, gameport, sound card, 3d card, DMA, even reinstalled win98, none of which offered any improvement for D2.
